RAILS (Railway Applications Integration and Long-term networkS) was a two-year research project which investigated technologies to be deployed in passenger applications, provisioning systems and wayside to train connectivity.
During this meeting, we will present to you the results of this two-year research into innovative technologies for *next-generation HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) adaptive streaming architectures, protocols and algorithms for high-quality media streaming over IP networks in general, and the Internet in particular.
The PUMA project is collaborative research project with key SaaS providers in Flanders: UP-nxt, Simac 3Services and Wondergraphs. The partners investigated scalable security solutions for the management and enforcement of user permissions in software-as-a-service offerings. During this closing event of the project we will present application cases and research results from both the industry partners and research partners.
